And so here I am trying out a blog! What the heck do I say? How the heck do I get it to look good? And will anybody ever read it or care? Why do we blog? Is it because we want someone out there to hear our cries? Is it so that someone out there will validate our feelings? Or do we all feel that we have something incredibly profound to say.
I have to admit one of the things I liked most about Sex in the City was Carrie Bradshaw's ability to sit and write and get it out and it all made sense. She made it look so easy. I think "I could do that!" So why don't I? Not enough time? Am I afraid that I can't do that? I'm supposed to be a writer.
So, reader, help me! Tell me how to do this and what you want to hear from me. You validate me, I'll validate you.

Kent votes that we want to hear about all the cool traveling you do! We want to see your pics and hear stories. I know, I know! Traveling has become mundane to you but it still sounds cool and exciting to the rest of us (okay, maybe NOT Laney - but the rest of us YES!)
Yes, it does sound cool to the rest of us. You should also tell us about really good books. You can never have too many good books to read.
